From the exterior, the hotel has no charm at all: a big block of concrete… but the rooms are very well fitted: spacious, big bathrooms. Only the air-conditioning (a little old) should be replaced. The breakfast was very filling. The reception personnel speak English and are very helpful (all issues with the room were solved very quickly). The only weak point: the geographic location. The hotel's surroundings are not so pleasant and the twelve minutes to the Dynamo metro station is sometimes a bit long… but once you're at the station you're on the Red Square in less than 15 minutes.

Don't be put off by the location or the concrete exterior, this is actually a pretty good hotel and by Moscow standards its not expensive. I stayed here for two weeks on business, and I got used to the metro ride into the centre and back everyday. You can see the hotel from Dinamo metro station and, once you've got the hang of the underpasses, it takes less than half an hour to get to Red Square. Inside, the rooms are spacious and pretty smart. The staff were competent and friendly, and my only complaint was with the WiFi system - you have to buy a card from reception everyday, and they're not cheap.
