How do I get from the hotel to the Tretyakov Gallery?

The Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow's most famous art museum, is easily reached in a little over 20 minutes from the Akvarel Hotel. Take the metro from Teatralnaya Metro Station (less than ten minutes' walk from the hotel) and travel south on the dark-green line one stop to Novokuznetskaya. The gallery is signposted from the metro station, and is around 400m away.
