The Alrosa Na Kazachyem Hotel is within comfortable walking distance (less than 15 minutes) of the main collections of the Tretyakov Gallery (the "Old Tretyakov") on Lavrushinskiy Pereulok. To reach the museum, turn left out of the hotel and left again up Ulitsa Bolshaya Ordynka. Walk north about 400m, take the second left and then the first right onto Lavrushinskiy Pereulok. The Tretyakov is on your left.
