The Alrosa Na Kazachyem has a charming location on a peaceful side-street off Bolshaya Ordynka, a major avenue running due south from the Kremlin through the historic Zamoskvorechye district to the south of the Moskva River. The area around the hotel is filled with 18th and 19th century mansions and historic churches.
The nearest metro station, Polyanka, is just under ten minutes' walk from the Alrosa Hotel, and from there it is only one stop to Borovitskaya, right next to the Kremlin.
