How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

If you plan to travel by taxi to the Bolshoi Theater from the Altay, the drive should take no more than 30 minutes, but can take much longer during evening rush hour. The safer alternative is to take the metro from Vladykino Station, which is about ten minutes' walk from the hotel, and travel seven stops south to Chekhovskaya. Change there to the dark-green line and travel one more stop south to Teatralnaya, which is right next to the Bolshoi.
