Opened in 2009, the Aquarium Hotel has 225 guest rooms and suites, tastefully decorated in a simple modern style and equipped with a fair range of modern technical amenities including hi-speed Internet access (wired but free-of-charge), although the quality of furnishings is not particularly high. The Aquarium also has airy public spaces including an on-site restaurant and cafe, and offers a reasonable range of business and concierge services. Further amenities, including several restaurants and extensive conferencing facilities, can be found elsewhere in the grounds of the Crocus Expo Center, particularly the excellent choice of eateries in the Crocus City shopping mall.

Providing a long-awaited solution to the problem of finding adequate accommodation close to the Crocus Expo, the Aquarium Hotel is also conveniently located for Sheremetyevo International Airport, and has good public transport links to the city from Myakinino Metro Station (less than five minutes' walk from the hotel), which is just over a half-hour ride from Ploshchad Revolyutsii, next to Red Square in the very centre of Moscow.
