How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

If you plan to travel by taxi to the Bolshoi Theater from the Arbat, the drive should take around 15 minutes, but can take much longer during evening rush hour. The safer alternative is to take the metro from Smolenskaya (about five minutes' walk from the hotel) and travel two stops east on the dark-blue line to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, which is opposite the theater.
