The Arbat Hotel is about five minutes' walk from Smolenskaya Metro Station on the dark-blue line. From there it is one stop to Arbatskaya, for the Kremlin, and two stops to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, for Red Square and the Bolshoi Theater. To reach the station, turn left out of the hotel, take the first left onto Pereulok Sivtsev Vrazhek and then right onto Denezhnyy Pereulok. The next street you come to is Arbat, and the metro station is in the courtyard opposite.
There is a second station called Smolenskaya, on the pale-blue line, about 50m past the first station on the opposite side of the Garden Ring. The two stations are not connected.
