Which is the nearest metro station?

The Art Hotel is not particularly conveniently located for the metro. The easiest station to reach is Sokol, on the dark-green line, which is six stops (14 minutes' journey) north of Teatralnaya, for Red Square and the Bolshoy Theater. To reach the metro, on leaving the hotel turn right on 3-ya Peschanaya Ulitsa and follow the road round the large apartment buildings opposite until you come to the first turning on the right onto Chapaevskiy Pereulok. Walk the length of the street (about 500m) to Leningradskiy Prospekt and turn right. The underpass to the metro station is about 200m along the road. In total, the walk will take 10-15 minutes.
