Belgrad Hotel

Among the cheapest hotels in the centre of Moscow, the Belgrad Hotel is only really of interest due to its prime location at the end of Ulitsa Arbat, one of Moscow's most famous historic streets. Guests looking for accommodation with character and style will have to try elsewhere.

The large, 20-storey Belgrad Hotel was built in 1973, and is located not far from the spectacular Foreign Ministry Stalinist skyscraper on the Garden Ring. The Belgrad is a typical Soviet-era three-star hotel, although since 2003 it has been undergoing renovation, and the hotel's refurbished rooms conform to international standards. Unrenovated rooms at the Belgrad, although very basic, offer some of the cheapest accommodation in central Moscow. With 237 rooms altogether, the Belgrad provides guests with a standard range of concierge and business services, and also has a 60-seater conference hall.

The Belgrad Hotel is a little over 1 km from the Kremlin, which can easily be accessed in around 15 minutes by metro from the hotel. The famous Arbat pedestrian precinct is a short walk from the Belgrad, and the impressive Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building is right opposite the hotel. By metro, it is also very easy to access Crocus Expo, the Moscow Expocenter, and Kiev Railway Station, the city terminal for Aeroexpress trains to Vnukovo Airport.
