How do I get from the hotel to the Kremlin?

Guests at the Belgrade Hotel will find it very easy to walk to the Kremlin from the hotel. The walk is around 1.5km, and is mostly along Moscow's attractive Arbat pedestrian precinct, then across Ploshchad Arbatskiye Vorota and straight on along Ulitsa Vozdvizhenka, which brings you directly to the main Kremlin visitor entrance in the Kutafaya Tower. If you prefer to take the metro, be sure to head for Smolenskaya Station on the pale-blue line (turn left then left again out of the hotel and do not cross the street). From here it is two stops east to Aleksandrovskiy Sad Metro Station, which is right next to the Kremlin's main visitor entrance.
