If you are happy to use public transport, take the metro from Partizanskaya Metro Station and travel west five stops on the dark-blue line to Ploshchad Revolyutsii. Change there to the dark-green line and continue one stop south to Novokuznetskaya, which is less than ten minutes' walk from the main collections of the Tretyakov Gallery on Lavrushinskiy Pereulok.
