Belarus Station, located in the north-west of Moscow's city center and around 3km from the Budapest Hotel, is the Moscow terminal for trains from Belarus (Minsk and Brest), Kaliningrad, Smolensk and international destinations including Vilnius, Warsaw, and Berlin.
By taxi
In clear traffic, the drive from Belarus Station will take no more than ten minutes, but you should allow longer at any time during the day. If you plan to haggle for a taxi on arrival, you should not agree to pay more than $20, although it is probably easier to book a transfer with a driver to meet you off the train, which you can do here.
By metro
Take the metro from Belorusskaya Metro Station (attached to the mainline station) and travel south three stops to Teatralnaya, which is under ten minutes' walk from the Budapest Hotel.
