Cozy and Comfortable
Best site for a Hotel in Moscow. Used to stay in the Metropole but prefer the Budapest. It will be my only option when we return. Oh, how I miss the cognac.

Trying to economize on my third trip to Moscow, I chose the Budapest Hotel and I have to say I loved it. If it seems expensive, you must remember that any other hotel in this area and this close to Red Square is going to be about three times the price. The Budapest is old fashioned, it's true, but in a nice characterful way. Breakfast was good, and there are business services available in the hotel next door (one entrance), although this hotel is really worth it if you're in Moscow for sightseeing.

Budapest Hotel is a place with genuine character, that is rare in Moscow for a 3-star hotel. The staff were kind and did speak English, and the location so close to Red Square was fabulous. It seems not cheap for a 3-star, but we are told that is the way in Moscow. Use of the fitness centre next door was for 400 rubles, which seemed alright. When the Bolshoi Theatre is open again, I will come back.

Great Experience
Great hotel located just minutes by walking from Red Square. Clean, friendly staff and large rooms.
