The main advantages of the D'Hotel are its good transport links to the downtown area and the hotel's normally very reasonable room rates. The "D" in the hotel's name stands for design and, while the D'Hotel is not a design hotel in the conventional understanding of the term, it does provide 82 reasonably priced, well equipped, and quite stylish guest rooms in a new-build residential block. All rooms feature free WiFi and air-conditioning.

The D'Hotel also offers a full range of services for business travellers, including a small conference hall and two meeting rooms. On-site dining is available at the Design Restaurant, and there is also a small lobby bar. The D'Hotel is located a little under ten minutes' walk from VDNKh Metro Station, making it possible to reach Red Square and the Kremlin in less than 30 minutes.

The hotel is particularly convenient for VVTs - the 'All-Russian Exhibition Centre' - which is one of Moscow's foremost exhibition sites and a fascinating park with a multitude of Stalinist neoclassical pavilions, fountains and statues. Other sights of interest in the neighborhood include the Cosmonautics Memorial Museum and Ostankino Park, with its beautiful wooden palace housing a fine collection of Russian folk art and antiques.
