Every year, more and more travelers come to Moscow for international exhibitions and trade fairs, the vast majority of which are hosted at Moscow's two major expo centres – Moscow Expocentre and Crocus Expo. Considerable effort has been made in recent years to ensure that there is adequate hotel accommodation for delegates, but if you want a hotel that's genuinely convenient for the site of the exhibition you are visiting, it still pays to book well in advance.
Moscow Expocentre is located near the downtown, so the choice of hotels close by is good or, if you are prepared for a short metro ride, excellent. Hotels in the area are nearly all well equipped for business travelers.
Crocus Expo is located just beyond the city limits to the north-west of Moscow. The exhibition centre has its own hotel, and there are a few other accommodation options nearby, although it is normally easier to find hotels with good metro connections to the centre.
