It is possible to walk the 1.5km from the Golden Apple to the Kremlin. Turn right out of the hotel and walk south down Malaya Dmitrovka Ulitsa. At the end of the street, cross Pushkinskaya Ploshchad diagonally and continue south down Tverskaya Ulitsa until you come out on Mokhovaya Ulitsa opposite Red Square. Cross Manezhnaya Ploshchad and walk through the Aleksandrovskiy Garden to reach the main Kremlin visitor entrance to the Kremlin in the Kutafya Tower.
Alternatively, take the metro from Chekhovskaya Metro Station (about 200m from the hotel) and travel one stop south on the grey line to Borovitskaya, which is about five minutes' walk from the Kremlin entrance.
