How do I get from the hotel to the Kremlin?

The simplest way to get to the Kremlin is to take the metro. From Smolenskaya on the pale-blue line (the metro station on the same side of the Garden Ring as the Golden Ring Hotel), travel two stops east to Aleksandrovskiy Sad. The exit from the station is right opposite the main Kremlin visitor entrance in the Kutafya Tower. If you prefer to walk to the Kremlin, it will take about 30 minutes all the way along Ulitsa Arbat, then diagonally through the Arbatskaya Metro Station underpass, and continuing east along Ulitsa Vozdvizhenka.
