Kiev Station is actually within comfortable walking distance of the Golden Ring, less than 1km from the hotel across the Moskva River. It is the Moscow terminal for trains to/from Kiev and several eastern and central european destinations including Belgrade, Zagreb, Bucharest, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, and even Venice.
