How do I get to the hotel from Belarus Station?

Belarus Station is the Moscow terminal for trains from Belarus (Minsk and Brest), Kaliningrad, Smolensk and international destinations including Vilnius, Warsaw, and Berlin. The Historical Hotel Sovietsky is within walking distance of the station (about 600m), although guests with heavy luggage may prefer to take a taxi up Leningrasky Prospekt - this should not cost more than $15. To walk to the hotel, on leaving the station cross Leningradsky Prospekt using the pedestrian underpass and turn left up the avenue. The Historical Hotel Sovietsky is about ten minutes walk up the street on the corner of the second block.
