How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

Although it may seem more comfortable to take a taxi to the Bolshoi Theater, the fact that most performances start at the height of Moscow's evening rush hour means that it is probably a better bet to take the metro. Fortunately, from the Holiday Inn Moscow Lesnaya Hotel, it's a very simple journey. From Belorusskaya Metro Station (around 300m from the hotel), take the dark-green line and travel south three stops to Teatralnaya Metro Station, which is a few steps from the Bolshoi Theater.
