Which visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

The main visitor attraction in the immediate vicinity of the Izmailovo Alfa Hotel is Izmailovo Park, one of Moscow's largest and most impressive green spaces. Formerly a royal estate and model village, where Peter the Great spent much of his childhood, the park has acres of woodland to explore, as well as several historic buildings of interest, including the stunning 17th century Pokhorovskiy Cathedral. The park is also home to Moscow's largest souvenir market, a great place to buy traditional Russian gifts such as hand-painted nesting dolls and lacquered boxes.
