Which visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

Izmailovo Park, one of Moscow's largest and most impressive green spaces, is the main visitor attraction close to the Izmailovo Gamma (less than five minutes' walk). Once an estate of the Romanov family, where Peter the Great spent much of his childhood, the park has acres of woodland to explore, as well as several historic buildings of interest, including the beautiful 17th century Pokhorovskiy Cathedral. The park is also accommodates Moscow's largest souvenir market, one of the best places in the city to buy traditional Russian gifts such as hand-painted nesting dolls and lacquered boxes.
