How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

It is also possible to reach the Bolshoi Theatre on foot from the Kadashevskaya Hotel. On leaving the hotel, turn right along the embankment to Ulitsa Bolshaya Ordynka and then turn left to cross Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge. Then, walk straight across Red Square and through the Resurrection Gate. Cross Manezhnaya Ploshchad through the pedestrain underpass and exit to your right on the far side of Ulitsa Okhotny Ryad (at the end of the underpass). Walk along Ulitsa Okhotny Ryad and Teatralnaya Proezd, and you will soon see the Bolshoi on your left. The walk will take around 20 minutes and offers you some of the best views in Moscow. Alternatively, you can take the metro from Novokuznetskaya Metro Station (around seven minutes' walk from the hotel) and travel north one stop to Teatralnaya, which is a few steps from the Bolshoi Theatre.
