How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

If you plan to travel by taxi to the Bolshoi Theater from the Katerina City Hotel, the drive should take around 20 minutes, but can take much longer during evening rush hour. The safer alternative is to take the metro from Paveletskaya, which is about five minutes' walk from the hotel, and travel two stops north on the dark-green line to Teatralnaya, which is directly opposite the theater.
