To reach the main Tretyakov collections on Lavrushinsky Pereulok (the "Old Tretyakov"), take the metro from Kurskaya Metro Station (around 500m from the Mamaison Pokrovka) and travel west on the dark-blue line to Ploshchad Revolyutsii. Change there to the dark-green line and continue one stop south to Novokuznetskaya. From there it is around ten minutes' walk to the gallery.
