The quickest way to reach Moscow's most famous art museum from the Marriott Courtyard Moscow City Center is to walk to Teatralnaya Metro Station (next to the Bolshoi Theatre and just over 15 minutes from the hotel) and travel south on the dark-green line one stop to Novokuznetskaya. From there it is around seven minutes on foot to the gallery.
