If you don't mind walking for 30 minutes, it's a simple but interesting journey on foot from the Marriott Grand Hotel to the Kremlin straight down Ulitsa Tverskaya (left out of the hotel front entrance), passing several Moscow landmarks including the statue of Pushkin on Pushkinskaya Ploshchad and the impressive equestrian monument to Yuri Dolgoruky, founder of the city. At the end of Tverskaya, walk through the underpass to Manezhnaya Ploshchad and turn right across the square and along Manezhnaya Ulitsa until you reach the main visitor entrance of the Kremlin in the Kutafya Tower.
Alternatively, you can take the metro from Mayakovskaya Metro Station, and travel south two stops to Teatralnaya, change to the red line and continue one stop west to Biblioteka im. Lenina, which is less than 100m from the Kutafya Tower.
