The Marriott Grand Hotel has a prime location for dining out in Moscow, with a wide range of eateries close by to suit all budgets and tastes.
Top-end
Cafe Pushkin (27a Tverskoi Bulvar) has long been a favorite with tourists (and Muscovites) for its combination of beautiful historic interiors and reliably well cooked traditional haute cuisine. China Club (21, Ulitsa Krasina) may lack authenticity (the menu includes Japanese and European dishes), but makes up for it with an extensive wine list and stunning formal interiors.
Mid-range
The beer at Pilsner (1 1-ya Tverskaya-Yamskaya Ulitsa) is brewed under license in Russia, but is drinkable nonetheless, and the hearty accompanying food is reasonably priced.
Value
For inexpensive and filling Central Asian cuisine a few steps from the hotel, try Barbaris (10 2-ya Tverksaya-Yamskaya Ulitsa).
