How do I get from the hotel to the Bolshoi Theater?

The temptation will certainly be to take a taxi from the Maxima Slavia to performances at the Bolshoi. If you, make sure that you allow at least an hour for the journey in case of heavy traffic. Alternatively, take the hotel's shuttle minibus (or a public bus) to VDNKh Metro Station, and from there travel south on the orange line five stops to Turgenevskaya. Change to the red line and continue south two stops to Okhotny Ryad. Exit following signs for the theatre, and it is less than five minutes' walk from the metro.
