Trains arrive at Kursk Station from central Russia (Kursk and Nizhny Novgorod) and eastern Ukraine (Donetsk and Kharkiv), as well as some Sapsan high-speed trains from St. Petersburg. The Maxima Slavia Hotel is around 20 km from the station.
By taxi
It should take around 35 minutes to reach the hotel by car, although the trip can be much longer at peak times. If you are willing to negotiate with a driver on arrival, taxis should cost no more than $40. It is considerably easier, however, to book a transfer with a driver to meet your train here.
By metro
From Kurskaya Metro Station, which is connected to the concourse of the mainline station, take the brown circle line two stops counterclockwise to Prospekt Mira, change here to the orange line and travel three stops north to VDNKh. From there it is a reasonably short bus ride to the Maxima Slavia Hotel.
