Where in the city is the hotel located?

The Medea Hotel is located just south of the Moskva River from Red Square and the Kremlin in the historic Zamoskvareche District, once home to the city's wealthiest merchants. Thanks to this, the area boasts several beautiful historic churches and the Tretyakov Gallery, Russia's finest museum of national art. It is possible to walk from the hotel to Moscow's major downtown attractions, although the convenience of Novokuznetskaya Metro Station means that its probably simpler to take public transport.
