How do I get to the hotel from Sheremetyevo Airport?

National Hotel

Sheremetyevo International Airport is located to the north-west of downtown Moscow, approximately 35km from the National Hotel by road. Taxi or transfer is of course the most comfortable way to reach the hotel, but due to Moscow's heavy traffic, the Aeroexpress rail link is normally faster.

By taxi
It will take around one hour to reach the National from Sheremetyevo by taxi, and official airport cabs charge around $60 for the trip. Alternatively, you can book a transfer with a driver to meet your flight here.

By train
The recently completed Aeroexpress rail link runs from Terminals D, E and F at Sheremetyevo to Belarus Rail Station. The service runs every half hour from 5am to 12.30am daily and takes 35 minutes. Standard adult tickets cost around $11, with discounts for young children, family tickets and first class tickets available. To complete your journey, take the metro from Belorusskaya Metro Station and travel south on the dark-green line three stops to Teatralnaya, which is less than 100m from the National Hotel.

By bus
Bus services run from all terminals at the airport to Rechnoy Vokzal Metro Station in the far north of Moscow. Services run roughly every ten-minutes from 5.30am to 12.30am daily, and cost $1-2.50 depending on the speed of the service (30 to 60 minutes). Then, take the metro from Rechnoy Vokzal and travel south on the dark-green line nine stops to Teatralnaya, which a couple of minutes' walk from the National Hotel.
