How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

National Hotel

Vnukovo Airport, situated to the south-west of central Moscow, is roughly 45km from the National Hotel. The Aeroexpress rail link is probably the most reliable way of getting to the hotel from the airport, although guests may prefer the convenience of a taxi or airport transfer.

By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo cost around $60. For greater security, you can also order an airport transfer to meet your flight here. The drive from the airport to the National Hotel will take at least one hour.

By train
There are Aeroexpress trains running from Vnukovo to Kiev Station in central Moscow. Hourly services run daily 6am to 12am, and the journey takes 30-40 minutes. Standard single adult tickets cost just over $10, and there are child discounts, family tickets and first class tickets available. To complete your journey to the National, take the metro from Kievskaya Metro Station and travel three stops east on the dark-blue line to Ploshchad Revolyutsii, which is less than five minutes' walk from the National Hotel.

By bus
There are also bus services running from Vnukovo to Yugo Zapadnaya Metro Station in the far south-west of Moscow. Regular bus services (611 and 611c) run from 5.30am to 12.50am daily at 10-15 minute intervals. The journey takes just under 25 minutes and tickets cost $3-4. There are also marshrutka minibus shuttle services (611b and 45) that operate from 7am to 11pm. From Yugo Zapadnaya it is a direct journey north on the metro eight stops to Okhotny Ryad, which just across the road from the National Hotel.
