Built in 1992 and recently fully modernized, this six-story building houses 493 spacious guest rooms and suites, all decorated in an elegant contemporary style. The Novotel Moscow Sheremetyevo also offers a wide range of leisure facilities, including a pool, sauna and well-equipped fitness center. The hotel has two restaurants serving a range of international cuisine. Business travellers are well served, with excellent conference and meeting facilities in seven modern and well equipped venues with capacity for up to 350.
The Novotel Sheremetyevo Airport is the only hotel available for transit passengers who do not wish to obtain a Russian visa, although they are accommodated in a separate part of the hotel and kept under constant supervision. Due to its exclusive location, the Novotel is able to charge fairly high room rates. However, its recent renovation programme means that it is now better value for money, and the proximity to the airport station means that it is possible to reach central Moscow in less than an hour, avoiding the city's perennially heavy traffic.
