It is only five minutes' walk from the Peter 1st Hotel to Kuznetskiy Most, on the purple line. To reach the station, turn right out of the hotel and then first left along Ulitsa Kuznetskiy Most. At the next junction, head right across the street, and the metro is in the courtyard of the building in front of you.
Kuznetskiy Most Station is connected to Lubyanka Station on the red line. Also within ten minutes' walk of the hotel, Teatralnaya, is on the dark-green line and connected to the red and dark-blue lines. To get there, turn right out of the hotel, walk to the end of Neglinnaya Ulitsa, turn right again and walk across the square in front of the Bolshoi Theater. The entrance to the metro is just round the corner on Ulitsa Bolshaya Dmitrovka.
