How do I get to the hotel from Vnukovo Airport?

Vnukovo Airport is located to the south-west of central Moscow, roughly 40 km from the Planernoe Hotel. The hotel's secluded location and the lack of public transport mean that we strongly recommend booking a transfer in advance, although there are cheaper alternatives if you are confident in your ability to organize them.

Official taxis from Vnukovo to the Planernoe Hotel will cost around $80, and the drive will take 60-80 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Pre-booking a transfer, which you can do here, will ensure you get to the hotel as quickly and comfortably as possible.

By train
The Aeroexpress rail link runs from Vnukovo to Kiev Railway Station in central Moscow. Trains run every hour from 6am to 12am daily. The journey takes 30-40 minutes, and tickets cost a little over $10. There are children’s discounts, family tickets and first class tickets available. To continue your journey by metro, take the brown circle line from Kievskaya Metro Station and travel one stop clockwise to Krasnopresnenskaya. Then, change to the purple line and go north eight stops to Planernaya. From there it is a 20-minute taxi ride to the hotel.
