As often seems to be the case in Russian hotels, breakfast was one of the best things about the President Hotel - loads of food, all very well prepared. The top-floor restaurant is also very good, and not too pricey. I also really liked the river views from my window, where you can see almost half of central Moscow. Apart from that, though, I think the President is quite significantly overpriced, even by Russian standards. Nothing wrong with the hotel, but there's better out there for sums like that.

We stayed at the President during June and loved the experience. Our room overlooked the Moscow River and the Peter the Great Statue. The view alone was worth the price, particularly in the evening when the sun set over the distant hills. The hotel is close to everyhting and Gorky Park, the Cathedral of the Saviour/Pushkin Musem are easily within walking distance. The Kremlin is a little farther but still walkable. Excellen t service and friendly staff with a phenomenal breakfast buffet.

My wife and me were very happy with the hotel. Plenty of spaces for the children in our suite and most friendly and helpful staff. The good hotel for family holidaying.
