This modern standard hotel is owned by the nearby Khrunichev State Space Center and is located in Moscow's western Fili district. As its name suggest, the Proton Business Hotel is aimed primarily at corporate travelers, and its main selling points are proximity (by car) to the Moscow Expocenter and relatively low room rates for well-equipped superior accommodation. However, the location has little to offer tourists, particularly considering the distance from the nearest metro station.

Simply decorated and comfortably furnished, all guest rooms and suites at the Proton Business Hotel are spacious and well-equipped, with air-conditioning and complimentary WiFi throughout. Among a fair range of business facilities, the Proton hotel has two business centers providing technical support, as well as space for small seminars or conferences. The hotel has a reasonable on-site restaurant (fortunately, as there is little choice around the hotel), and a fitness centre with good-sized gym and sauna.
Although not ideally located, the hotel compensates for this to some extent by running a free shuttle bus to and from Kievskaya Metro Station in the downtown area at regular intervals throughout the day (Kiev Railway Station is also the terminus for the Aeroexpress rail link to Vnukovo Airport). The Proton Business Hotel is also next to historic Fili Park, one of Moscow's most attractive green spaces and home to the beautiful 17th century Church of the Intercession at Fili. To reach the Moscow Expocenter from the Proton Business Hotel should not take more than 15 minutes by taxi.
