The Radisson Royal Hotel is just over 3 km from the Kremlin and Red Square, which can easily be reached by taxi or public transport in around 20 minutes. Alternatively, guests can cross the Moskva River and take a leisurely walk down Arbat, one of Moscow's most famous historic streets and now a pedestrian precinct with street performers, souvenir stalls and numerous bars and cafes.
The walk will take you past the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which, like the Radisson Royal itself, is one of the 'Seven Sisters', the magnificent Stalinist skyscrapers that dominate the skyline of central Moscow.
Adjacent to the hotel is the House of Government of the Russian Federation, better known as the White House and famous to foreigners for its central role in the attempted coup of 1991 and the governmental crisis of 1993.
