It is about 30 km from Belarus Station, the Moscow terminus for trains to/from Belarus (Minsk and Brest), Kaliningrad, Smolensk and international destinations including Vilnius, Warsaw, and Berlin, to the Rus Hotel.

By metro
From Belorusskaya Metro Station (connected to the mainline station concourse), take the dark-green line and travel south two stops to Tverskaya. From there travel fourteen stops west to Bulvar Dmitrya Donskogo Metro Station. It is 2 km from there to the Rus Hotel, and the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus service in the mornings and evenings.
