Kursk Station is the Moscow terminal for trains to/from central Russia (Kursk and Nizhny Novgorod), eastern Ukraine (Donetsk and Kharkiv), and some Sapsan high-speed services from St. Petersburg. It is little less than 25 km from the Rus Hotel.
By taxi
The drive to the Rus Hotel from the station will take around 40 minutes in reasonable traffic, or much more at peak times. Taxis should cost $30-40, or to save trouble you can book a transfer with driver to meet your train here.
By metro
From Kurskaya Metro Station, which is connected to the concourse of the mainline station, travel on the brown circle line clockwise three stops to Dobryninskaya. From there travel eleven stops south to Bulvar Dmitrya Donskogo Metro Station. It is 2 km from there to the Rus Hotel, and the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus service in the mornings and evenings.
