By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo to the Rus Hotel will cost around $40, and the drive will take 20-60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. If you would prefer the security of a driver to meet your flight, you can book a transfer here.
By train
The Aeroexpress rail link runs from Vnukovo to Kiev Railway Station in central Moscow. Trains run every hour from 6am to 12am daily. The journey takes 30-40 minutes, and tickets cost a little over $10. There are discounts for children, family tickets, and first class tickets available. To continue your journey by metro, take the brown circle line from Kievskaya and travel three stops counterclockwise to Dobryninskaya. There change to the gray line and go eleven stops south to Bulvar Dmitrya Donskogo Metro Station. It is 2 km from there to the Rus Hotel, and the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus service in the mornings and evenings.
By bus
There are also bus services that run from the airport to Yugo Zapadnaya Metro Station in the far south-west of Moscow. From there to the Rus Hotel requires a metro journey with two line changes, and then a walk of around 15 minutes to the hotel, so this route is inadvisable.
