Originally opened in 1913, the Savoy Hotel was a centre of Moscow literary life before the October Revolution, provided accommodation for visiting German dignitaries in the post-War Soviet Union, and is now one of Moscow's most luxurious hotels, particularly noteworthy for it small size and very traditional approach to luxury.

The Savoy Hotel's historic home is an elegant Russian Neoclassical building on picturesque Ulitsa Rozhdestvenka, nestled among Moscow most exclusive boutiques and restaurants and just a couple of minutes' walk from the Bolshoy Theater and Red Square. The Savoy also has excellent public transport links, with two metro stations less than two minutes' walk from the hotel.
