The Kremlin is around 2km from the Swissotel Krasnye Holmy and, while it is certainly possible to walk from the hotel (the simplest way is to follow the Moskva River along Kosmodamianskaya Naberezhnaya until you get to the Bolshoy Kamenyy Bridge next to the Kremlin), most guests will probably prefer to use public transport.
By metro, take the dark-green line from Paveletskaya Metro Station (just over five minutes' walk from the Swissotel), and travel north two stops to Teatralnaya. Change there to the red line and continue one stop west to Biblioteka im. Lenina, which is a couple of minutes' walk from the Kremlin's main visitor entrance.
If you prefer to see where you're going, you can also take a No. 6 bus from the stop across the road from the Swissotel on Sadovnicheskaya Ulitsa. This will take you (in around 15 minutes) to the stop next to Biblioteka im. Lenina and Aleksandrovsky Sad Metro Stations.
