By taxi
Official taxis from Vnukovo to the Volga Hotel will cost around $60, and the drive will take about an hour, depending very much on traffic conditions. If you would prefer the security of a driver to meet your flight, you can book a transfer here.
By train
The Aeroexpress rail link runs from Vnukovo to Kiev Railway Station in central Moscow. Trains run every hour from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily. The journey takes 30-40 minutes, and tickets cost a little over $10. There are discounts for children, family tickets, and first class tickets available. To continue your journey by metro, take the brown circle line from Kievskaya Metro Station and go four stops clockwise to Prospekt Mira Station. Change to the orange line and travel one stop south to Sukharevskaya Station, just about ten minutes' walk from the Volga Hotel.
By bus
There are also bus services that run from the airport to Yugo Zapadnaya Metro Station in the far south-west of Moscow. Regular services (611 and 611c) operate from 5.30 a.m. to 12.50 a.m. daily at 10-15 minute intervals. The journey takes just under 25 minutes and tickets cost $3-4. There are also faster marshrutka minibuses (611b and 45) that run from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.. From Yugo Zapadnaya, travel north on the red line eleven stops to Chistye Prudy. There, change to the orange line and go one stop south to Sukharevskaya, which is about ten minutes' walk from the Volga Hotel.
