Sheremetyevo Airport, the home of Russia's national carrier Aeroflot, is located to the north of Moscow about 30 kilometers from the city centre. With the recent reconstruction of the airport, completed in 2012, the number of hotels in the immediate vicinity of the airport has improved considerably. Undoubtedly the best-known hotel at Sheremetyevo, and for a long time the only quality accommodation option at the airport, the Novotel remains the only accommodation available for transport passengers without a Russian Visa. Fully refitted since being taken over by Park Inn, the hotel offers stylish and spacious standard accommodation and a full range of business support services. There is also a reasonable 24-hour restaurant-bar with summer terrace.
